De Bruyne ‘verbally agrees to SHOCK EXIT from Manchester City’, Chelsea ‘receive BOOST from Osimhen’, Olise to Bayern

Kimmich could leave Bayern

Joshua Kimmich is expected to leave Bayern Munich and Joao Palhinha is expected to arrive soon, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool and Manchester City are leading the race for the German star.

Romano provided an update, saying: “There has been a lot of speculation about Joshua Kimmich in particular, as he is in the final year of his contract at Bayern now, and some fans have asked me if Palhinha’s arrival means he is replacing him.” Romano wrote on Caught Offside.

“Let’s see what happens because Bayern still have a chance to extend Kimmich’s contract.

“The most likely scenario at the moment is that Kimmich leaves and tries a new experience. It will also depend on the offers because Kimmich will explore all the options available to him after the Euros.”

Leicester close to second signing

Steve Cooper is set to complete his second Leicester City signing with the capture of former Fulham striker Bobby De Cordova-Reid, according to The Telegraph.

Cooper persuaded the Jamaica international to join the Championship title winners after he turned down a contract extension at Craven Cottage.

De Cordova-Reid can operate as a striker or winger and is expected to undergo a medical at Leicester in the next 24 hours.

The 31-year-old will sign as a free agent and has agreed to join Leicester despite a number of competing offers from Premier League clubs.

Klopp sought for new role

Former Premier League star Tim Howard believes he can convince Jurgen Klopp to become the next US national team manager.

In an article for the Daily Mail, he wrote: “After the disappointment of the Copa America, after the USA’s defeat against Uruguay and their elimination in the group stage, I will personally be flying to Spain. I really mean it.”

“I know Klopp has only been retired for a few weeks and I know he wants a break. But if we were sitting around his villa in Spain, I think I could lure him here. 100 per cent.

“The money is certainly there. So my argument would be simple: he has a group of young players who can play progressive, attacking football, just like his Liverpool teams. And in two years’ time he could be in the biggest World Cup in history.”

Arsenal Women star leaves

Vivianne Miedema has hailed her stunning move to Manchester City as “the best move” for her after joining the WSL giants as a free agent.

And the former Arsenal star, 27, is hoping his best years on the pitch are yet to come after sealing a three-year move to the Cityzens.

His contract with his new club will run until the summer of 2027.

In an interview with Manchester City’s website, Miedema said: “When I first heard that Manchester City were interested, I thought, ‘Ooh, that’s really interesting.’

“It’s one of the clubs I’ve always followed to make sure they’re doing well.

“I’ve been following their progress and with those two points and the way they play football in the WSL, it was ultimately a pretty easy choice for me.”

Mbappé’s brother leaves PSG

Kylian Mbappe’s younger brother Ethan followed him out of the exit door this summer.

He signed on a free transfer from Ligue 1 club Lille and has penned a three-year contract with the northern France-based side.

Speaking after the club announced the move, Ethan said: “For me, at my age, staying in France was the best option to progress.

“I think LOSC was the best project. It’s one of the best in France.

“I can’t wait to start this adventure and meet my new teammates, the staff, and the supporters.

“It’s a real pride to be able to play here.”

Clubs surround themselves with Manchester United star

Scott McTominay is attracting attention from several clubs, including Galatasaray, according to TEAMtalk.

The Turkish champions are preparing a new and improved offer for the midfielder.

While Fulham view him as a potential replacement for Bayern Munich-linked Joao Palhinha.

Newcastle, West Ham and Southampton are also interested.
