All-Stars’ Demi Makes Hilarious On-Air Gaffe

Demi Jones made a hilarious blunder on Thursday’s (January 18) edition of Love Island: All Stars as she tried to avoid an awkward situation.

The star has been embroiled in something of a love triangle in the villa after initially being linked to Chris Taylor.

Demi caught the eye of Mitchel Taylor, who had been partnered with Kaz Kamwi, leading him to eventually appoint her as his ‘number one’ in the villa.

But shortly after Mitchel’s statement, Demi shared a passionate kiss with Luis Morrison, who she had been getting to know while he was also getting to know Kaz.

After Demi kissed Luis on Thursday, she went to the dressing room to do her makeup but found Kaz and Chris in there having a one-on-one fight.

Not wanting to make things awkward, Demi said, “Oh, hi! Sorry, I just have to get my phone.”

However, eagle-eyed fans (and Kaz and Chris presumably) might see that Demi was clearly holding her phone while she pretended to look for him.

On X (formerly Twitter), a fan wrote: “Half ‘sorry, I just have to grab my phone’ while holding his phone in his hand??”.

Another added: “Demi: sorry, I just came to get my phone. She puts the phone on the table and pretends to be looking for it 😭”

A third person said:”Demi runs into the room excitedly then sees Kaz and Chris, she says just picking up my phone, it’s in your hand 🤣”

Thursday’s episode ended on a cliffhanger with the first recoupling looming in the villa, with the girls getting to choose which boy they’d like to be paired with.

But there was a twist: before the girls could decide, Josh received a message announcing that he would get to choose who to date first. So who will he choose?

Love Island: All the Stars will launch on Monday 15 January at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX and STV.
