Cyberpunk 2077 players baffled by hidden room and secret NPC

CD RED Project Cyberpunk 2077 has one of my favorite open worlds ever created.

I really didn’t think I’d say this when the game came out, but it’s a testament to the hard work the developers put into completely transforming it. Cyberpunk 2077 in the game that was originally promised.

Night City is incredibly detailed, and it’s refreshing to travel through such a densely populated open world rather than venturing across a very open landscape.

A CD Projekt RED developer recently came forward to confirm that Night City still holds secrets that have so far gone undiscovered by fans.

From secret NPCs to lesser-known endings, fans have been making all sorts of interesting discoveries recently – and now, one player has found a rather puzzling NPC in Clouds Nightclub.

This somewhat puzzling discovery was made by Reddit user Oppoijaegr who wrote: “I was making clouds as usual in my game, and while I was going through the cameras to mark enemies and such, I saw an NPC highlighted in gold in one of the booths (booth four).”

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Star Wars Outlaws will be released later this year on August 30th. Check out the latest trailer below.

“It’s not a booth you can walk into, the scanner didn’t elicit any dialogue or anything, and I haven’t been able to find anyone talking about it anywhere else,” they continued.

“There’s not even a name that shows up, it just sits there. Some kind of reference I don’t understand lol? A glitch that only I saw? It looks like a completely custom model, I’ve never seen that hair on a male body type.”

Take a look at the mysterious figure below.

“I just finished this mission and saw the same thing, but they were lying down, in the room right next to six,” marasovsqueefsguard added, hinting that the NPC’s placement is intentional.

“Just another doll waiting for a customer,” jl_theprofessor suggested.

It seems that most rooms in Clouds actually have these invisible NPCs placed inside them, which could prove that perhaps content was removed from this section of the game?

The most boring explanation is simply that they are placed there to make the rooms appear occupied when players open the scanner.

It would certainly be interesting to hear CD Projekt RED’s definitive response.
