Small Town Bakery in Ozark, Missouri

Small Town Bakery in Ozark, Missouri

For over 25 years, husband and wife team Brenda and Kerry have been serving up beautiful cakes to the small town of Ozark, Missouri. When they started in 1998, they were one of the only catering establishments in town. This small town bakery in Ozark, Missouri is located inside their antique mall, Spring Creek Antiques, about a 20-minute drive from the state’s third largest city, SpringfieldThey watched the town of Ozark grow around them.

Brenda and Kerry have built an impressive Facebook which accounts for over half of the town’s population. I loved looking at their gorgeous layer cakes and specialty products featured on their page. With no website, I called and spoke to Kerry himself to learn more about Spring Creek Tea Room. He mentioned that his wife, Brenda, probably wouldn’t admit her wide range of talents, but she has nearly 170 different recipes for her various confections!

Kerry believes part of their success is due to their decades of experience in grocery stores and their hands-on experience in baking and food preparation. Brenda has been making most of the cakes at the tea room for over 20 years, but she now trains the staff to master her tried-and-true recipes.
