How does PFF grade the New York Jets wide receiver room?

There are a lot of questions about the New York Jets’ offense heading into the 2024 season. One of the biggest questions concerns the talent and depth at receiver.

Sure, the Jets have some interesting questions to ask on the offensive line and at quarterback as well. But the receiver questions remain a focal point heading into training camp.

There is only one established playmaker at receiver for the Jets in third-year star Garrett Wilson.

Coming off a sophomore NFL season where he had 95 receptions for 1,042 yards and three touchdowns, Wilson’s numbers are even more staggering considering the Jets had the third-worst passing attack in the NFL last season.

All of this led Pro Football Focus to rank the Jets 19th in receiver talent:

“Garrett Wilson is a star receiver, and a healthy season from Aaron Rodgers should only highlight that even more.

Breece Hall is a very good receiver on defense, but outside of him there are a lot of unknowns. Mike Williams, while a solid player, is coming off a torn ACL. Perhaps better quarterback play will help everyone on the team improve. Time will tell.

The Jets drafted Western Kentucky receiver Malachi Corley on Day 2, a draft pick that can and should help the passing attack. Corley put up impressive numbers during his career at Western Kentucky with 259 receptions for 2,943 yards and 29 touchdowns.
