Sluss Announces Appointment of New Agent, Julie Schnuerer

MANSFIELD — Julie Schnuerer is following in her mother’s talented footsteps.

“My mom was a multi-million dollar producer when I was in college and I really enjoyed going to open houses with her and watching her work,” Julie proudly said of her mother, Joyce Ink.

“What I loved most was seeing my mom in action with her southern charm and seeing her put people at ease and be so transparent. I think I’ve carried that legacy forward with my other jobs, and I’m really looking forward to continuing that as an agent.”

Julie recently became the newest agent at Sluss Realty.

Julie said she and her husband of 26 years, Cory, have gone by the nicknames “Chip and Joanna” for many years.

“We are always working on new projects and these projects are usually for houses that need to be renovated or even completely rebuilt,” she said. “We are currently working on a house that was destroyed by fire, which has opened up new perspectives for us!”

Julie said she has always had a passion for design and decorating, and has had a true love for the real estate industry for as long as she can remember. Becoming an agent was a natural fit.

“My family has always been incredibly supportive and right now they are so happy for me,” Julie said. “My mom said, ‘It’s about time,’ because everyone knew I wanted to do this for a long time.”

Julie also enjoys staging and event planning and is extremely detail-oriented and organized – these qualities will undoubtedly make her a strong agent.

“I believe these particular elements of my personality and character will be valuable assets that I will offer to each of my clients to maximize their experience and meet their selling and buying needs,” she said, noting that this is what she believes sets her apart.

When she’s not working, Julie says she enjoys spending time with Cory (also her high school sweetheart!) and their three wonderful children: Isaac and his wife Mckenzie; Olivia and her husband Collin; and their youngest Caleb who just graduated high school!

Julie has also served alongside Cory in full-time ministry for the past 13 years, while also working full-time in various leadership roles.

“I truly enjoy working hard and honestly and I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves to get things done,” she said. “My faith and love for God are very important to me and I will always consider my walk with Him to be my highest calling.”

“My family is also very important to me. We love spending time together, going on family vacations, having family barbecues, and just being close to each other. I have always been told that I love “intensely” and am extremely loyal to the people around me – and I won’t deny it!”
