Kid Rock Shares 8-Word Rude Message After Trump Shooting

Kid Rock responded to Donald Trump’s assassination attempt with an insult-filled warning on social media.

“If you make fun of Trump, you make fun of me,” he shouted in a shirtless selfie video posted to his Instagram profile.

The right-wing musician recently described Trump as one of his “best friends” in a fiery interview published by Rolling Stone in May, which explored his “extreme political shift” from party rocker to “fervent MAGA warrior.” He reportedly brandished a gun during the interview, adding to a list of controversial jabs and comments over the years.

One person was killed and Trump and two others were injured Saturday when a gunman opened fire on the former president’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The shooter, whose motive is still under investigation by authorities, was fatally shot by secret service agents at the scene.

The incident has sparked condemnation and calls from top elected officials, including President Joe Biden, to lower the temperature in American politics.

Trump has also called for unity in his comments since the attack.

Other musicians who have commented on the shooting include 50 Cent, Soulja Boy, Scotty McCreery, John Rich and Dave Matthews.

“There’s no way they just shot Trump,” Soulja Boy wrote.

“This is no way to behave. My condolences to the families of the people who were injured, but damn it, this is no way to run a democracy, this is no way to be part of a democracy,” Matthews said onstage at a show in Virginia, according to a video posted on X.

Rich, a country singer and member of the duo Big & Rich, indulged in conspiracy theories: “They couldn’t beat him in a fair fight, so they tried to kill him. BUT THEY MISSED.”

Rapper Nicki Minaj also appeared to weigh in when she posted “Wtf” shortly after the shooting.
