The Crow reboot soundtrack features Joy Division and Enya

The soundtrack of The Raven is coming soon, and the full tracklist has been revealed. Artists included include Joy Division, Enya, and Debussy, offering a variety of tones but a consistent, moody feel. The soundtrack is something to pay attention to, as the music of The Raven has long been part of the franchise’s appeal. The 2024 film stars Bill Skarsg?rd (HE), singer-songwriter FKA twigs (Dear), and Danny Huston (Succession) and would apparently be a complete reboot of the story, meaning it’s likely adapting the same set of comics as the first one. The Raven film released in 1994. This film was a huge success, with a hit soundtrack and an aesthetic five years ahead of its time.

Reach first place in the ranking Billboard Top 200 albums in the United States, The Crow: The Original Soundtrack of the Movie 3.8 million copies were sold in the United States and was certified 3x platinum by the RIAA. The Raven has been one of the most troubled productions of recent years, having undergone numerous changes of directors, stars, and even studios over the past decade on its long and difficult road to the big screen. Even after the announcement that the film had wrapped production, it didn’t seem like audiences would actually get to see it until the trailers were released.

The Raven is directed by Rupert Sanders (Foundation, Ghost in the Shell, Snow White and the Huntsman) and written by Zach Baylin (King Richardfuture Creed III). The producers are Molly Hassell (Braven, Terminal), Victor Hadida (resident Evil And silent Hill franchises), John Jencks (Honest thief, weapons in hand) and Edward R. Pressman (American Psycho, The Crow, Wall Street).

The Raven will be in theaters tomorrow, August 23.
