New Udinese Calcio home jersey inspired by the past to celebrate 30 consecutive seasons in Serie A

Udine, 16 July 2024 – The Udinese 2024/25 home kit has been unveiled in the enchanting setting of the rooftop of the Hotel Columbus in Lignano Sabbiadoro, thanks to the partnership between Udinese and PromoTurismoFVG.

The new Udinese Calcio home jersey features a nod to the past combined with technical innovations and graphic details. The club’s traditional black and white vertical stripes make a comeback, recalling the jersey worn in the 1995/96 season, the first of 30 consecutive seasons in the top division, celebrating a special milestone: 30 consecutive Serie A titles. Currently, only Inter, Lazio, AC Milan and Roma can boast such a long streak.

The new Udinese Calcio home jersey for the 2024/25 season features a black polo collar with gold trim. The jersey is black and white with three vertical black stripes, two on the sides that extend to the sleeves and one in the centre. The black stripes feature a thin vertical black line on the right side, while the fabric features a geometric pattern with thin oblique stripes in a tone-on-tone sublimated print. The design is inspired by the jersey worn in 1995/96, when Alberto Zaccheroni was in charge of managing the team and German striker Oliver Bierhoff arrived. The back collar is personalised with the gold lettering “30 E LODE” (the Italian academic equivalent of 30/30) to celebrate Udinese’s 30th consecutive season in Serie A, a dedication to the entire Udinese community who played such an important role in achieving this milestone. Another important graphic detail is found on the inside of the collar, where a black and white label appears with the club logo, the phrase “I PRIMI BIANCONERI D’ITALIA” (the first blacks and whites of Italy), the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that each garment is imagined, designed and developed on the Macron Campus. On the chest, in black silicone, there is the Macron Hero, and on the left, also in silicone, the Udinese Calcio crest.

The names and numbers are in black with a gold outline and the Friuli eagle appears in gold on the numbers.

The new home kit is completed by black basketball-style shorts with white stripes and white socks with a gold stripe at the top and a central black stripe followed by the UDINESE 1896 wording.

Like all the technical clothing produced by Macron for its clubs, the jersey is made entirely of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material made from recycled post-consumer plastic. More specifically, the fabric used for the jersey is Eco Exalock, with a back panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh, guaranteeing lightness and perfect breathability.

The new Udinese Calcio home jersey is available for purchase at the Macron Sports Hub at the Bluenergy Stadium, online in the club’s new renovated store, which opened this evening, and in the dedicated section on macron.com, where you can find the entire clothing line created by Macron for the club.
