The singer took to TikTok to playfully acknowledge a now-viral wardrobe malfunction that occurred while she was performing at Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic concert in New Jersey. In a widely shared video, a high slit in Morris’ denim skirt lifts up to reveal what many online are convinced is evidence that she was going commando. Amid the debate over whether or not she was wearing underwear, Morris posted a supremely unflappable response on social media. “I think I’m gonna frame the skirt,” she captioned a TikTok set to Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s “WAP.” The video’s text asks if “anything weird” happened today, then quickly transitions to promoting her upcoming EP, Intermission. When one commenter hailed her reaction as the only “appropriate response,” Morris, who welcomed son Hayes in 2020, replied: “I gave birth. Nothing bothers me anymore 😂.”
