Dubai Princess Divorces Husband Via Instagram Post

Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reportedly asked her husband for divorce via social media.

The daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the current ruler of Dubai, took to Instagram with a savage message targeting her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.

“Dear husband, as you are busy with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce,” wrote Sheikha Mahra, 30.

“I’m divorcing, divorcing, and divorcing,” she continued. “Take care of yourself. Your ex-wife.”

The Arab Royal Agency announced the engagement of Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana in March last year, according to Grazia magazine.

Sheikh Mana’s father later confirmed the engagement with an official poem congratulating the couple.

Months after the announcement, the couple tied the knot in May 2023. They hosted a luxurious reception in Dubai in June 2023.

On her wedding day, the bride wore a white embroidered ball gown by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture.

Sheikha Mahra’s decree comes two months after she gave birth to her and Sheikh Mana’s daughter.

She first announced that the couple were expecting on October 18, 2023, with an ultrasound photo of their growing baby on Instagram. She captioned the sweet snap: “Just the three of us.”

Sheikha Mahra celebrated her 30th birthday in February with a pink-themed gender reveal as they announced they were expecting a baby girl.

The mom announced the birth of her newborn on May 9 via Instagram with a photo of the little girl’s tiny hand and the caption, “✨🤍✨.”

On June 4, she also shared a selfie of herself and her daughter cuddled up together, with the words “Just the two of us” written across the top of the image.

Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, 75, is also vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
