Glass Houses Kids Have Shared A New Single Inspired By The Terror Of Love – Check Out ‘Vulnerable’

Children in glass houses have published ‘Vulnerable’.

It’s the latest single from their upcoming fifth album, “Pink Flamingo,” which is set to be released on October 25. The band also recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of their debut album “Smart Casual.”

Singer Aled Phillips describes the album as “a new beginning, rather than just releasing a fifth album.” He adds: “Even if people ask for another ‘Smart Casual’, we couldn’t write it and I don’t think they would really want to anyway.”

Speaking about ‘Vulnerable’, he explains: “It’s pretty self-explanatory, but it’s a song that talks about love as this incredible but terrifying concept – where your life and happiness are intrinsically tied to someone else. I think our relationships and the relationships of younger generations are no longer seen as something to be worked on. We look to people now like we do with TV shows and I think people have increasingly unrealistic expectations because of how everything has become available but how disposable it has become and that, in turn, creates less security in itself, which makes anxiety and distrust even more prevalent. Add to that the stress of social media and all the body image and lifestyle comparisons that it induces, and it’s a complete disaster.”

The band are set to tour the UK in November, following their recent appearance at the 2000trees festival.
