‘Top Bollywood Actor’ Cheated On Wife Two Months After Marriage, Was Caught Naked With Actress: Wedding Filmer

Filmmaker Vishal Punjabi, also known as The Wedding Filmer, has filmed several celebrity couples for their weddings. He has worked with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra, and Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli to name a few. In a recent conversation, he was asked if any of the weddings he has filmed ended in divorce.

Speaking to DJ Simz on YouTube, Vishal said, “It happened with a celebrity. Two months after their marriage, he cheated on her. He was caught red-handed with a Bollywood actress in his makeup van, on a Bollywood film set. His wife walks in and catches him naked, and says, ‘I don’t want your wedding film.'”

Vishal continued, “I call the groom, but he doesn’t answer. I call the bride, but she’s like, ‘Don’t talk to me, I don’t want the wedding film!’ So I call her manager, and he’s like, ‘Dude, it’s not happening, we don’t want the film.’ I said, ‘What do I do? Do I sell it to Netflix?… At that time, I had a contract that said I had to pay 50% before and 50% after giving the film. After that incident, I thought, ‘This is a matter of heart, marriage, life and family, and I’m going to charge you 100% before I come.’”

Vishal added that even though he didn’t bother them about the dues, he still had the footage. He said, “In the film, the groom is crying saying, ‘I love you, baby’. You know those are fake crocodile tears. He is a big Bollywood actor. I can’t name names, but man… The value I have of that footage is worth crores. It’s a comedy film. I could sell it and make tons of money.” Vishal then looked at the camera and said, “You know who you are!”

Before he started shooting weddings, Vishal worked with Shah Rukh Khan at Red Chillies Entertainment for a decade.

Vishal added that even though he didn’t bother them about the dues, he still had the footage. He said, “In the film, the groom is crying saying, ‘I love you, baby’. You know those are fake crocodile tears. He is a big Bollywood actor. I can’t name names, but man… The value I have of that footage is worth crores. It’s a comedy film.
