Barcelona make official offer to RB Leipzig and Spanish star Dani Olmo

Barcelona have reportedly made a huge offer to Dani Olmo in a bid to sign the RB Leipzig and Spain star this summer.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona have offered a six-year contract and are willing to pay his €60m release clause.

Olmo’s release clause is set to expire soon, but the report claims Barcelona have managed to negotiate an extension for a few more weeks.

The Spanish star is now ready to consider the deal as he eyes a move away from the Bundesliga side.

Barcelona have reportedly offered a deal with a salary increase after the first two seasons – similar to that offered to Robert Lewandowski and Nico Williams.

Olmo has also received offers from Manchester City, Bayern, Liverpool and Manchester United as he prepares his next transfer.

The forward has previously said he would like to return to Barcelona and also recently admitted to telling his agents what he wants to do next.

It remains to be seen how Barcelona intend to deal with Olmo, as well as Nico Williams, who is the club’s main target.

There have been rumours that Barcelona could be willing to sell an ‘important’ player to fund a deal for Olmo, but no mention has been made of who that might be or whether a transfer is realistic this summer.
