Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan ‘set to face jail’ over farming mistake

Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan has expressed her willingness to risk jail time over a dispute with the local council over their farm shop. The couple are set to return for the third season of Amazon Prime’s hit reality show Clarkson’s Farm, where viewers will witness the potential closure of the Diddly Squat farm shop due to local council regulations.

Lisa, 48, who has been in a relationship with Clarkson, 64, since 2017, appears in the upcoming series, which airs on May 3, receiving a warning from a local council representative. She was told they were only allowed to store produce from within a 16-mile radius of the farm.

Lisa, who runs the farm shop in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, told OK!: “I was literally going to get one for the team… You pay so much tax and then you give them that money and they use it to fight to shut you down.”

She added: “It seems strange, this behaviour… They’ve done me a favour actually, because I wouldn’t have been able to find half of my suppliers if I hadn’t had to look for them within a 15-mile radius. So I’m very grateful. But I just think (the council) overreacts a bit sometimes.”

On a lighter note, she joked about a possible prison sentence: “My neighbor said she’d bring me cigarettes and roses. I don’t smoke, but I’d start! … Actually, I wouldn’t mind taking some time away from home. I’ve been very busy.”

Jeremy and Kaleb Cooper return for a third season of Clarkson’s Farm on Friday, May 3. A fourth season has also been confirmed.
