Barcelona stars send blatant transfer message to Nico Williams as Arsenal and Chelsea eye them

Three Barcelona players have commented on Nico Williams’ social media post as speculation over his future continues to grow amid links to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old has played a key role in Luis de la Fuente’s side, helping Spain win Euro 2024, earning him a place in UEFA’s Team of the Tournament alongside William Saliba. His outstanding performances have caught the attention of many clubs across Europe.

football.london understands Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on the winger, whose contract includes a €58m release clause. Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be interested in a move, while Barcelona are hoping to bring him to the Camp Nou to join his close friend Lamine Yamal.

Despite all the interest, his boyhood club remain confident that the forward will remain at the San Mames. Although it has been claimed that Williams would prefer a move to Barca over the Premier League, he has warned clubs not to wait until the last minute to complete a deal.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has assured fans that his club has the financial means to sign the 21-year-old. “From an economic point of view, we could commit to signing Nico Williams,” Laporta told Catalunya Radio. “Nico is a player that I like, I like him a lot.”

“We are working with (coach Hansi) Flick on possible signings. Now we have to let (sporting director) Deco close the operations we are working on.”
