De Havilland Canada Announces Sale of Dash 8-400 Aircraft

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) announced today that the Tanzania Government Flight Agency (TGFA) has signed a purchase agreement for a refurbished DHC OEM-certified Dash 8-400 aircraft.

“The addition of a De Havilland Canada OEM-certified refurbished aircraft to the TGFA fleet ensures the continuity of TGFA’s growing domestic airline program,” said Ryan DeBrusk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, De Havilland Canada. “We are proud to see another Dash 8 aircraft in Tanzania, where the aircraft is ideally suited to support the development of domestic air travel.”

De Havilland Canada’s OEM Certified Remanufacturing program was officially announced at the Farnborough International Airshow earlier today and the purchase of this Dash 8-400 aircraft is further recognition of the aircraft type and DHC’s commitment to “Keeping the Fleet Flying.” As this program grows, DHC facilities across Canada will provide the engineering, parts and expertise needed to meet the growing demand for the Dash 8 aircraft.
