KABONG (July 27): Kabong MP Mohd Chee Kadir has assured his constituents that he will continue to give necessary attention and assistance to schools in his area.

“We will use the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) allocations to upgrade the infrastructure of schools in this area.

“For SJKC Chung Hua Kabong, we have been informed that several facilities and infrastructure require attention and repairs.

“We will collaborate with the District Education Office (DEO) and the school management regarding the need to improve the school,” he said during a meeting with the SJKC Chung Hua Kabong board of directors on Thursday.

Mohd Chee added that all education-related matters had always been his priority and he would continue to provide necessary support and assistance to any schools in need of help.

“The cooperation and efforts of all parties are very important to ensure that all issues related to education in our region are well taken care of.

“We are also aware that this effort involves many challenges, but for our part, we are committed to ensuring that schools in our region receive special attention,” he stressed.

Mohd Chee was also briefed by SJKC Chung Hua Kabong principal Chua Sok Kheng about the plan to build new blocks at the school.

Later, Mohd Chee also presented a grant of RM6,000 to the school’s Parents’ Association (PTA).
