Top Cryptocurrency Gainers Today on DEXScreener – USPEPE, BAR, BUG

As cryptocurrency markets rally following US inflation data that boosted confidence in a Fed rate cut and in anticipation of US President Donald Trump’s pro-crypto remarks at the Nashville Bitcoin Conference on Saturday, meme coins are emerging as the top crypto gainers today.

Bitcoin (BTC) is up 3.6% in the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap, and is hovering around $68,000.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency could soon return to record highs near $74,000 if it manages to break the downtrend from yearly highs.

Risks remain very much tilted to the upside in the coming months.

This is because Fed rate cuts are approaching and US politics appear to be a major obstacle that could accelerate BTC adoption, particularly through increased institutional ETF purchases.

In this regard, several state pension funds have made headlines this week as they begin to diversify into BTC.

Another state pension fund has added Bitcoin to its portfolio.

In a filing with the SEC this morning, the Michigan State Retirement System reported holding $6.6 million worth of the ARK Bitcoin ETF (110,000 shares) as of June 30.

While Bitcoin’s rally may continue over the weekend, making it a great cryptocurrency to buy now, it’s not a top-tier winner.

But traders should note that USPEPE’s liquidity is relatively low, at just $300,000, or less than 10% of its market capitalization.

A few large sell orders could wipe out all recent gains.

This brought its market capitalization to nearly $6 million and its liquidity to over $500,000.

The token seems to have a decent position in the crypto degen community.

It has 242 rocket emoji upvotes compared to just 38 red flag and 12 poop emojis.

Go+ Security, In the meantime, finds no concerning aspects in its smart contract.

But that doesn’t mean the token isn’t a scam or a pump-and-dump scheme.

Bug (BUG)

Another meme from Matt Furie (the creator of the Pepe cartoon) appears.

Bug (BUG), based on a cartoon of one of his other creations, is up 200% in 24 hours.

Despite impressive recent returns, this leaves plenty of room for further valuation growth.
