Alien: Rogue Incursion has been dated with a new trailer

Alien: Rogue Incursion has been given a release date of December 18, 2024.

Announced earlier this year, the single-player action-horror game is coming to PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Meta Quest 3.

It is developed and published by Los Angeles-based Survios, the virtual reality specialist behind games such as Puzzle Bobble 3D, The Walking Dead: Onslaught, Westworld Awakening and Creed: Rise to Glory.

“The game stars Zula Hendricks, a steadfast former Colonial Marine, on a dangerous mission that takes her to the uncharted planet Purdan and the secrets that lie beneath its surface,” reads an official description.

“Along with her sentient AI companion, Davis 01, Zula must fight her way into the heart of Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ infested research facility.

“There, she must survive deadly attacks from the most cunning Xenomorphs ever encountered and discover new horrors and threats that, if unleashed, could spell the end of humanity.”

Alien: Rogue Incursion is available to pre-order in two editions. The Standard Edition costs $39.99 / £32.99 and includes the base game only, while the Deluxe Edition at $49.99 / £39.99 includes an armor skin, a weapon skin, and “more to come.”

Customers who pre-order either edition of the game will also receive armor and weapon skins inspired by Alien: Romulus, which hits theaters this week.

The latest film in the Alien series pays homage to Creative Assembly’s 2014 game Alien Isolation, according to director Fede Álvarez.
