Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy fired a flamethrower at the Democratic Party establishment Friday by announcing he was suspending his presidential campaign and throwing his support behind Donald Trump.

In his address to the nation on Friday, RFK condemned Democrats for becoming a shadow of their former selves, saying they would “become the party of war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big agriculture and big money.”

The nephew of former President John F. Kennedy then described how Democrats subverted democracy by blocking his campaign from appearing on the ballot in several states while pretending to save it.

Kennedy also lambasted the military-industrial complex for its complicity in Ukraine’s war against Russia.

In a poignant part of his speech, Kennedy revealed that Trump had offered him a leading role in his administration.

“Last summer, it seemed that no candidate was prepared to negotiate a quick end to the war in Ukraine, address the epidemic of chronic disease, protect free speech and our constitutional freedoms, eliminate corporate influence in our government, or challenge the neoconservatives and their agenda of endless military adventurism,” Kennedy said.

“But now one of the two candidates has taken up these issues, to the point of asking me to be part of his administration. I’m talking, of course, about Donald Trump.”

RFK added that he and Trump had already discussed areas of cooperation to treat and resolve chronic diseases.

The news comes after Kennedy revealed that Trump had asked him to JOIN his administration if he won.

Kennedy added that he would remove his name from the ballots in key states, effectively handing them to Trump.

RFK also made a powerful statement saying he was siding with Trump because he believed that allegiance would “maximize my chances of saving America’s children and restoring national health.”

“Instead of being virulent and polarizing, I will appeal to the values that unite us, to the goals we could achieve if only we didn’t fight each other. The most unifying theme for all Americans is that we all love our children,” RFK said.

“If we all come together on this issue now, we can finally give them the protection, health and future they deserve. Thank you all so much.”
