Six people arrested for reckless driving on SG road

Ahmedabad: The city traffic police Officers said Sunday they had arrested six men accused of committing waterfalls on SG Highway and surrounding roads on August 18.
The SG-2 division traffic police swung into action on Saturday almost a week after the incident, only after the video of the incident went viral on Saturday. According to the city traffic police officers, the accused had driven their cars parallel on the road and then drove negligently in the heavy traffic, endangering the lives of others.
The accused have been identified as Max Patel, 19, a resident of Gota; Pritam Semaria, 26, a resident of Kadi in Mehsana; Govind Singh Chauhan, 30, a resident of Ramol; Mitesh Goswami, 27, a resident of Gota; Ashish Prajapati, 26, of Ranip; and Ishwar Rathod, 22, of Vastral.
One of the accused, Manish Goswami, is absconding. Police said that Manish had bought a new SUV which he drove to Vastral and later, he and the other accused drove from Gota to Sanand Circle on September 10. Route SG August 18th. tnn
