Fall Festival Brings Carnival Rides, Food and Fun to Downtown Plymouth

PLYMOUTH — Ready for some great food, great music and a good time? The annual Plymouth Fall Festival, now in its 68th year, will take place Sept. 6-8 on the streets of downtown Plymouth.

Fall Festival President Andera Gerber said the weekend event drew a record crowd last year, with an estimated 85,000 visitors on Saturday alone.

“It was the busiest day in town,” Gerber wrote in a letter published in the Fall Fest 2024 program. “We had our best year ever last year and all the nonprofits that rely on this event as their primary fundraiser did very well.”

This year, carnival rides open at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket packages are available and $30 wristbands can be purchased on Sunday.

If twirls and spins aren’t your thing, the weekend also includes a full lineup of entertainment, a car show, craft show, pet show and vendors.

And of course, the food.

In addition to carnival fare, the festival will once again feature the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 7, at The Gathering across from Kellogg Park.

Hungry festival-goers can enjoy fluffy pancakes, sausages, orange juice and coffee or milk. Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door. Kids 5 and under eat free.

The Rotary Club’s annual chicken barbecue will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Sunday, September 8, at Kellogg Park. Dinner includes half a chicken, corn on the cob, a roll with butter, bottled water and a biscuit.

Pre-sale tickets are $17. Door tickets are $20.
