Anna Wintour attended the 2024 US Open yesterday, held at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York. Wintour attended the sporting event alongside fellow fashion icon Vera Wang.

The Vogue editor wore a pair of reptile-inspired ankle boots. While the length of this style is hidden beneath the hem of her dress, it’s likely that Wintour opted for knee-high shoes, a length she tends to gravitate toward.

The boot featured a supple white leather upper with black dots running along the length that gave it a reptilian quality. Gold buckles were attached to the sides, threaded through adjustable straps that seemed to alter the fit of the shoe.

Triangular toes have given way to chunky 2- to 3-inch heels, giving the British media executive a slight increase in height. Wintour’s shoe choice is comparable to designs from major brands like Staud, Balmain, Tecovas and Wolf & Badger, among others.

True to her style, the Londoner wore a floral maxi dress in a coordinating black and white hue. The garment featured a high neckline, long sleeves and a black floral print that appeared to have been drawn freehand with black ink or paint. Wintour carried a brown crossbody bag and wore her signature black sunglasses and bob, completing her look.

The 2024 US Open will run from August 26 to September 8. Matches will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN and streamed on Sling TV. Athletes will compete for a title and a total prize pool of $75 million, a 15% increase from 2023. Notable contenders include Coco Gauff, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka.
