Shelby Foundation Annual Fundraiser Set for September 21

The Shelby Foundation awards hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in grants and scholarships.

The foundation’s next fundraising event, An Evening with the Shelby Foundation, is scheduled for September 21.

The Shelby Foundation will host its annual fundraiser on September 21 at the Kehoe Center. The evening will include a dinner, auction, raffles and more.

“Like other nonprofit organizations, the foundation relies heavily on the generosity of the community,” said Director Carrie Kemerer. “Every dollar raised will be reinvested into the Shelby and surrounding community through the foundation’s grantmaking capabilities and will have a substantial and lasting impact on that community.”

The event will take place at the Kehoe Center and will include a program, food, cash bar, silent and live auctions, a 50/50 raffle and more. Tickets, which include hors d’oeuvres, dinner and a dessert buffet, are $75 each.

Through an online platform, anyone can bid on silent auction baskets and raffles.
