Etihad announces flights to Warsaw and Prague

DALLAS — From June 2025, Etihad Airways (EY) will add the cities of Warsaw and Prague to its extensive network.

The Abu Dhabi-based airline will thus land for the first time in its history in Poland and the Czech Republic. Thanks to its giant hub in the United Arab Emirates, it will offer passengers connections all over the world.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of EY, said: “These routes will not only enrich our network, but also provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with these countries and attract more visitors to Abu Dhabi. We see this as a key part of our growth strategy, helping to boost tourism and support the UAE’s vision for the future.”

The first of the two airports to welcome Etihad Airways is Prague-Vaclav Havel (PRG) on 2 June 2025. Flights from Abu Dhabi (AUH) will operate four times a week. A day later, on 3 June, services to Warsaw Chopin (WAW) will also begin four times a week.

The airline confirmed that both routes will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 28 business class seats and 262 economy class seats.

Etihad Airways is gradually covering the entire European map with its routes from Abu Dhabi. If we add Poland and the Czech Republic to the list, there are few destinations left to serve. The airline has not yet landed in most of the Scandinavian or Balkan countries.
