Parents in New Jersey town urged to keep kids indoors due to ‘danger in area’

Cape May County School District officials sent out a message Tuesday morning warning of “danger in the area.”

“Due to the danger in the area, please keep your children inside until further notice,” the Dennis Township School District said. “Buses are NOT running. Keep your children inside until further notice.”

State police, who patrol the 64-square-mile township with about 6,200 residents, did not immediately provide additional information.
