“While we believe the decision to place our client on leave was premature, we respect Director Daniels’ request to conduct a thorough review of the incident involving Mr. Tyreek Hill, a position we fully support,” the attorneys said. “We urge all parties to refrain from making public statements that could misrepresent our client’s actions and mislead the public about Mr. Hill’s detention.”

“We request the immediate reinstatement of our client and a full, thorough and objective investigation, as also recommended by Director Daniels. Our client will not comment until this investigation is complete and the facts are fully disclosed.”
