Man kills one, injures two before committing suicide on Jackson Street

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – A man shot three people at a Jackson Street business before turning the gun on himself on the evening of Sept. 13, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

APD said around 7:30 p.m., an unidentified man entered his business in the 3400 block of Jackson Street and opened fire on three related people before shooting himself. One of the victims was killed while the other two were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

APD confirmed the incident was domestic related.
