Investigators focus on ‘mysterious girl’

Mysterious murder in South Delhi: The mysterious girl and the two locked iPhones are baffling investigators in the murder case of Dubai-based entrepreneur Nadir Shah. It was the girl sitting in his Mercedes at the time of the murder that left everyone baffled, as the phones belong to Shah.

Police can either hire forensic experts or contact Apple to unlock the phones to find out if Shah has received any threats recently.

It was learnt that a police officer revealed on Saturday that they would verify his role and record his statement.

Gangster Hashim Baba’s plea raises concerns over conflict of interest

Next week, investigators plan to ask the court to remand gangster Hashim Baba, who is suspected of being one of the key conspirators. The other main accused is Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in a Gujarat jail, while his associates Rohit Godara and Anmol Bishnoi have gone abroad. Another gangster, Rohit Chaudhary, will also be questioned.

Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, Manishi Chandra, and Pratiksha Godara are investigating the case, which has only gotten more complicated. Godara’s associates were on the scene and reportedly said they took Shah to the hospital after he was shot. Some officers have expressed concern over an alleged conflict of interest, with sources close to the commissioner saying Arora may transfer the case to another unit.

According to the Times of India, two Dubai-based entities, KC and AJ, have been served notice by the police to ascertain their involvement in the murder. KC was a close associate while AJ was a rival. Shah was shot nine times outside a gym in Greater Kailash I, south Delhi, last night. He was standing near his car and talking to his friend Dheeraj when the attackers Madhur, Raju and others arrived and started shooting. Dheeraj was also injured for standing by Shah. The top shooters are still missing.
