Who Is Elizabeth Debicki’s Boyfriend, Kristian Rasmussen?

When Elizabeth Debicki won at the Golden Globes for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown earlier this year, she was very, very surprised.

“Thank you so much,” she began, “Thank you to the creatives of this show for trusting me with this part, to our cast and crew, to my beautiful pretend children, to my mom and my dad and Kush and Tommy who are in Australia, hoping that they’re in their pajamas watching this.”

She continued, thanking “my partner Kristian,” referring to her boyfriend, Kristian Rasmussen but added, “He said, don’t thank me so that I’m not on television, but I’m going to thank you anyway!”

Who is Debicki’s boyfriend Kristian Rasmussen? There’s not much online about him; he and Debicki were first linked publicly in November 2022, and he’s quietly been by her side over the past two years—although he’s stayed out of the spotlight.

He was with her at the delayed 2023 Emmys:

“I’ve always been a private person,” Debicki told Vogue Australia years ago. “I feel like the thing I want out in the world is my work and I’ve always believed—and it’s the way I approach my work—that me and the work are separate. I think that people with social media can blur it so beautifully, and I respect that, but it’s not really how I am and I just want the work to speak and people to receive it the way they will without anything influencing it.

Kristian Rasmussen, then, will have to remain a mystery.
