Georgia Harrison explains why Celebrity SAS arrived at the right time after revenge porn case

Georgia Harrison has revealed Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins comes at the perfect time following her revenge porn case.

Last year, the TV star’s ex Stephen Bear was sentenced to 21 months in prison after being found guilty of sharing an intimate video of himself and Harrison on OnlyFans. She is now being put through her paces in the Channel 4 series, which sees the stars undergo intensive training, usually for those preparing to join the UK’s elite special forces.

In an emotional conversation in the final episode, she said she wanted to see how strong she could be and that the show was “my moment to show that I’m so much more than what happened to me.”

Love Island star Harrison has opened up about a tense episode in which the celebrities had to abseil off a dam and fall head first from a platform into the water in the dark.

At one point, she spoke about what she had experienced, saying: “When you go through something like that, you really lose a lot of self-esteem. I felt violated, I felt ashamed, I was embarrassed.

“I felt like I had devalued myself, that I was treated like damaged goods. I feel like this is the time to show that I am much more than what happened to me.”

Harrison was taken in for a chat with the management team, including head instructor Billy Billingham and Foxy (Jason Fox), where she explained what she had experienced with Bear.

“During that time, my best friend and my ex-boyfriend died. For two years, I was just trying to get through it,” she said, tears welling up in her eyes. “It’s been two years of just trying to keep living and be strong enough to be somewhat happy and accomplish the things that I need to accomplish, just get through it.”

“I had to be very strong very quickly, because I had to be strong to go to court. I had to put aside a lot of my grief.”

Harrison told staff: “It’s nice to be here for a few days and not have someone asking me, ‘Are you OK?’ I’ve got a lot more to me than that.

“It’s the perfect way to get me out of two years of struggle.”

When a team member pointed out that the class couldn’t have come at a better time for the star, she agreed: “It couldn’t have.”
