HIDDEN.NY x NEEDLES FW24 Capsule Release Info

Global streetwear brand turned Instagram mood board HIDDEN.NY is teaming up once again with Tokyo-based NEEDLES for a capsule that will launch exclusively at NEPENTHES Tokyo. The range is loaded with HIDDEN.NY’s signature green hues, randomly layered logos and early internet-inspired graphics.

The new collection includes classic NEEDLES styles like patchwork Cut tees, retro tracksuits, mohair cardigans and active parachute pants. HIDDEN.NY makes a statement across the line, with its bold circular monogram screen-printed on the back of tops, embroidered on the sleeves of sweaters and knitted onto the new HIDDEN.NY intarsia socks – a must-have for the New York-based brand.

The brand identity is also closely tied to the spectrum of green hues used throughout the collection, including a crew neck tee in a shade reminiscent of the “invisible” green paint used on scaffolding in New York City. On the back of the tee, a high-visibility orange HIDDEN.NY monogram is transposed with a digitally altered NEEDLES butterfly icon. Alongside the recurring overlay wordmarks, a new HIDDEN.NY x NEEDLES graphic features a pixelated illustration of a hand reaching out to a butterfly in flight.

HIDDEN.NY’s recent collections, like the “Discover a New World” collection launched last summer, also contain echoes of early desktop interfaces. The early digital aesthetic is a common and fitting theme for HIDDEN.NY, which traces its roots to the internet itself and regularly boasts the tagline “Past, Present, and Future.”
