Silent Hill 2 Remake Exact Release Date Launch Times Shared

We know that the Silent Hill 2 the release date is October 8, 2024, but Konami and Bloober Team have also announced the exact launch times. Depending on where you live and how you get your copy, you could be playing it on October 7, 2024.

For most locations, the PS5 launch time is usually set for midnight local time on October 8, 2024. This is true in places like Hong Kong, Istanbul, London, New York, Paris, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, Sydney, Tokyo and Warsaw. The only exception is Los Angeles, where people who purchased the PS5 version of Silent Hill 2 can start playing at 9 p.m. PT on October 7, 2024.

It’s when it comes to the PC version of the game that release times are scattered due to how Steam works. Here is the list of when it will be available in different time zones. Note that in North America, people in the Central or Pacific regions will be able to start playing on October 7, 2024. (I’ve also included notable cities related to each time zone on the map to help select regions.)

However, in some cases there may be people who are already playing Silent Hill 2 remake ahead of the official release date and launch times. Indeed, some are already reporting finding physical copies in the wild. There are reports on Reddit from people who have already found copies of Silent Hill 2 or had them send their copy early. However, since this is a remake of a game that is over 20 years old, at least spoilers aren’t an issue.

Silent Hill 2 The remake will come to PS5 and PC on October 8, 2024, although it could be October 7, 2024 depending on where you live. This is a PS5 console exclusive for one year.
