TikTok star dies at 25, husband announces “sudden and unexpected” death

TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg has died at the age of 25.

Grigg’s husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her death in an emotional Instagram post on Saturday.

“No one expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartbreak, especially at our age,” Grigg wrote. “Last year, Taylor faced more pain and suffering than most people in a lifetime. And despite that, she was always such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.

Grigg said his wife’s death was “sudden and unexpected” and that her body was “managed by machines to keep her organs viable for donation.”

He shared that his wife had been suffering from undisclosed medical issues for some time, but gave no additional details about her death.

“With this being so sudden and unexpected, we have nothing in order financially,” Griggs wrote in the post. “Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married, which has affected our financial situation, so we have no insurance.”

Grigg added that a family friend started GoFundMe.

The 25-year-old TikTok star has amassed over a million followers on the platform by sharing lifestyle and shopping videos.

She celebrated her birthday last month, just over a year after the couple tied the knot in August 2023.
