NBA Player Props: Best Pacers Bets for Game 2 Thursday vs. Celtics

The Indiana Pacers will look to clean up some things after a brutal overtime loss in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics as they look to even the series before it returns to the Midwest. The Pacers will focus largely on limiting turnovers and should be more aggressive attacking the basket after managing to get just 10 free throw attempts in the opener.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite bets on which Pacers players to target for Game 2 on Thursday, with odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tyrese Haliburton over 27.5 points + assists (-112)

Despite a late gaffe in Game 1, Haliburton had a solid stat line with 25 points and 10 assists. He was given extra time to help him out a bit, but he has now put together two good performances in a row. This will ultimately determine whether he is able to surpass that line, as he is averaging 8.2 assists per game in the playoffs. The Pacers are more successful when Haliburton is more aggressive, and having the point guard be more aggressive usually means a better scoring performance. I think he will cross that line again in game two.

Myles Turner on 1.5 3-pointers (-118)

Turner has quietly been shooting at a tremendous rate in the playoffs. He’s calmed down a bit since his torrid start against the Bucks, where he connected on 13 triples in the first three games, but remains a threat from the perimeter. The big man hit three triples in Game 1 and is shooting 60 percent from deep over the final six games of the playoffs. He has exceeded this limit five times during this period. Even though he struggles early, Turner has the confidence to hit at least a few deep shots tonight.

Obi Toppin under 3.5 rebounds (+120)

The combo forward has grabbed at least three rebounds in each of the last four games, surpassing that mark three times. However, Toppin’s numbers have been less consistent on the glass lately after starting the playoffs strong against Milwaukee. The Celtics will continue to emphasize dominating the boards and are unlikely to miss as many shots as they did in Game 1, meaning some of the rebound opportunities for Indiana will dry up. It’s a low line but I think Toppin stays below it Thursday night.
