Injured WWE Star Gets Championship Match

NXT North American Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan gave injured WWE star Cora Jade a championship match.

At NXT Battleground, Kelani Jordan defeated Fallon Henley, Lash Legend, Michin, Jaida Parker and Sol Ruca to win the Ladder Match and become the first NXT North American Women’s Championship.

Jordan followed this historic victory by defeating Michin in his first title defense on the June 18 edition of WWE NXT.

With another victory under her belt, the new champion wasted no time in delivering a championship match to an injured WWE star.

June 21st, Kelani Jordan took to social media to promote the NXT live event in Venice, Florida. Injured WWE star Cora Jade responded:

Shut up little baby

Jordan responded to the former NXT Tag Team Champion by offering her a championship match. She wrote:

Ohhh Cora, if you wanted a match, all you had to do was ask.

Cora Jade is out of action due to a knee injury she suffered during an NXT live event in January 2024.

Kelani Jordan also apparently gave her friend Sol Ruca an NXT North American Women’s Championship match on the June 18 episode.
