Hemingford hosts final game of the season

The Hemingford Swim Team was fortunate to host not one, but two meets this season. The team would like to thank everyone who helped make the day a success.

The meet was scheduled to be held in Torrington on Saturday, July 6, but due to the failure of the pool heaters, Hemingford offered to host the meet here rather than cancel the last meet of the season. Two of the Hemingford swimmers broke records on Saturday and the awards night was held at the Hemingford pool on Sunday night. This article and photos will appear in next week’s Ledger.
