SEC announces men’s basketball tipping times

Birmingham, Alabama (October 10, 2024) – The Southeastern Conference revealed its 144-game men’s basketball broadcast schedule for the 2025 season on Thursday.

All games on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and ESPN+/SECN+) are available through the ESPN app, which can be accessed through connected devices.

Conference play begins Saturday, January 4th and runs through Saturday, March 8th. Each SEC team faces the other 15 teams at least once during league play. Three teams will be played a second time during the calendar – two that are permanent opponents and one that will change each year.

A record 10 SEC teams received postseason bids. The SEC’s eight NCAA Tournament teams tied their previous best set in 2018. Additionally, two SEC teams competed in the National Invitation Tournament. The SEC has had 35 NCAA tournament selections in the last five tournaments.

The SEC Tournament returns to Nashville, Tennessee, as Bridgestone Arena will host the event March 12-16, 2025.
