Chatham Brewing is celebrating Phish’s return to Albany with the “Play It Leo” Hazy India Pale Ale.

Phish will play on October 25th, 26th and 27th at MVP Arena.

The IPA is a blend of Nelson, Mosaic and Citra hops, according to the brewery’s Facebook post.

The flavor is “full” of tropical flavors, they said, and was developed in conjunction with Cia Brewery and Rip Van Winkle Brewing Co.

The name is a tribute to Paige McConnell, Phish’s beloved keyboardist whose nickname is Leo. The drink is an update to a beer originally brewed to celebrate the jam band’s SPAC shows in 2018. The drink will soon be available in the brewery’s tasting room

The flavor is an update to the one that celebrated the band’s 2018 shows. It will be available in prominent bars, restaurants and drinking centers nearby.

All proceeds benefit the Divided Sky Home Recovery Program and its newly opened facility in Ludlow, VT.
