Bottega Veneta opens its first store in Cancun

Bottega Veneta presents its first store in Cancun, Mexico, designed by creative director Matthieu Blazy. Spanning 349 square meters, the new retail space continue it brands dedicated exploration of the materials of Italian tradition, a nod to its connection with craftsmanship and the Veneto region. The Cancun store takes specific inspiration from Mediterranean coastal architecture, with an elegant application of Venetian marmorino plaster, enhanced by strong wood accents.

Matthieu Blazy combines teak wood and Palladian terrazzo

Bottega Veneta with unique sculptures store in Cancun recreates an intimate and warm atmosphere, with that of Matthieu Blazy (see more here), voluptuous curves and organically bold accents that extend throughout the retail space and display designs. Upon entering, visitors discover organic stone slabs called Palladian terrazzo, a technique typical of large villas, delicately combined with teak wood, terracotta tiles and Venetian marmorino plaster.

The boutique officially opened its doors on April 5, 2024 and presents a wide range of Matthieu Blazy’s summer 2024 collection, including an exclusive limited edition Sardine bag, entirely handmade in raffia and soft contrasting leather, accompanied leather goods of ready-to-wear. -clothes and shoes. This is the first Bottega Veneta store in Cancun but the seventh in Mexico.
