Corrie’s Tracy caught lying about affair with Tommy Orpington

Coronation Street’s Tracy McDonald is caught in a lie next week as she continues her secret affair with Tommy Orpington.

Tracy recently decided to betray her husband Steve by embarking on an affair with former footballer Tommy and, although both men agree that their first passionate encounter was unique, their secret meetings have continued.

In scenes set to air next week, Tracy reveals she has the house to herself while Steve is away at the airport, and Tommy goes to see her.

Meanwhile, Gav Adetiba is organizing a new window cleaning tour. As he begins work at No. 1, Tim Metcalfe helps him get used to its scale.

However, Tracy sees Tim’s face in her bedroom window and screams. He is mortified and rushes back downstairs.

Soon after, Tracy soon appears on the street in a dressing gown. She convinces Tim and Gav that she and Steve had a good time together at lunchtime and adds that she would be grateful if they could be discreet about the situation.

However, back at home, Tim ignores Tracy’s request and tells his wife Sally what happened.

Things get even more complicated when Steve later tells Sally that he spent the whole day in his car.

After their conversation, Sally wonders who was in bed with Tracy. Are Tracy and Tommy about to be scolded?

The couple are already at risk of discovery this week when Tracy and Steve’s daughter, Amy Barlow, discover Tracy and Tommy alone together at the flower shop.

Kate Ford, who plays Tracy, recently opened up about why her character was going behind Steve’s back and being infatuated with Tommy, saying she didn’t feel appreciated by her husband.

“She realizes how fed up she is with her life,” she said. “She is ruthless and brutal.

“Tommy is handsome. He’s got a bit of glamor as a former footballer and she likes him. She’s like, ‘God, yeah, I’m really bored, it’s fun!'”

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and is broadcast on ITVX.
