Toyah Battersby receives shock bomb from medics after collapsing in Coronation Street

TOYAH Battersby is set to receive a shock bomb from medics after collapsing.

She has been thrown into stress between legal threats from Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) and his Altovalent Institute.

Toyah (Georgia Taylor) also hid her affair with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) behind her sister Leanne (Jane Danson).

This was after she was arrested for the murder of a baby she had when she was just 19 years old.

At the time she was raped and after her child was stillborn, she buried the body on the red ground.

But things take a turn for the worse for Toyah on Coronation Street and those around her when Leanne attempts to expand the Institute near her home.

Battersby’s younger sister will be left shocked after finding her sister showing unsuspecting Amy Barlow a video made by the cult.

She only wanted to help the teenager relieve her stress, but she later realizes that she plans to invest money in her beloved Institute.

This is of course after Leanne changes the Bistro’s product supplier to one approved by the institute, much to Nick’s dismay.

Elsewhere, Toyah will then complain to him of feeling intense stomach pains.

He will be absolutely horrified when he returns to the apartment to find Toyah in total agony.

She will be stuck lying on the floor in terrible pain as a worried Nick seeks medical attention for her.

Leanne waits at her sister’s bedside after Nick takes his potential sister-in-law to the hospital.

However, when the doctor arrives with the prognosis, he delivers shocking news.

She is still in shock and doesn’t know how to handle the news from the doctor.

That’s when he announces another unexpected explosive piece of news.
