Paul McCartney and Bono join Foo Fighters in their ‘pub’ dressing room for afterparty

A host of celebrities joined the Foo Fighters to celebrate after their show, after Dave Grohl opened his own pub backstage.

After their hugely popular gigs at the London Stadium, Grohl and his bandmates decided to turn a dressing room into their own pub.

Among the attendees were Sir Paul McCartney and Bono of U2, and they all gathered to “drink the bar dry” until the wee hours of the morning.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre section: “Dave knows how to party and loves a drink. He opened his own pub for his VIPs – and they stayed up until 6am.

“They drank the bar dry after their last show and it was already light when everyone started driving their cars home.”

This friendship comes as no surprise, since Sir Paul had already played drums on a Foo Fighters track.

Grohl had previously said: “Without the Beatles, I wouldn’t be a musician. It’s that simple. »

He explained to PBS: “I was like, ‘Hey man, do you want to play drums on a new song on our record?’ And he said, “You always have crazy ideas!”

The crazy idea paid off, and Sir Paul can be heard hitting the drums on the track Sunday Morning.
