A Delhi resident recently took to social media to share his shock after receiving a whopping electricity bill of Rs 30,000 for the month of June. The amount not only left him in disbelief but also raised concerns among other users.

The Reddit user mentioned in the comments section that he recently replaced his 16-year-old air conditioners with new models in hopes of cutting costs. However, despite his efforts, he found himself receiving a sky-high electricity bill. In his post, he mentioned that he has four air conditioners with at least two on at the same time. “I bought new air conditioners thinking it would save money. In fact, it didn’t save any money.
