River walking and lap swimming will be offered at Island Oasis

GRAND ISLAND — The Lazy River at Island Oasis will no longer be available just to “lazy” Grand Island residents, as walking and swimming on the Lazy River will now be permitted.

Starting Friday, June 28, visitors will be able to access the river from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for just $5 per visit. Admission will only be valid for the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. time period, but seasonal passes will also be accepted.
