Maserati is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. A testament to the company’s longevity is a bespoke version of the automaker’s first fully electric convertible. The Maserati GranCabrio Folore Tiganello is a unique piece created for Marchesi Antinori, head of the Antinori family, a member of the Florentine Guild of Winegrowers since 1385. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Tignanello, a famous red wine created by Antinori.

Why the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello is important

The story behind Antinori and its vineyards, like that of Maserati, is based on attention to colours, nuances, innovative methods and materials and a careful attention to the smallest details of craftsmanship.

Inspirations of the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello

The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello, a true all-electric four-seater convertible, has a custom body color called Terra di Tignanello, inspired by the soil of the vineyard. It has a deep metallic hue. All of the car’s accent colors and shades are related to wine.

The Antinori family will not keep the car. “A unique model of its kind, inspired by Tignanello for its 50th anniversaryth anniversary, a car with great identity and recognisability, just like our wine. An initiative that makes our family particularly proud: this special GranCabrio Folgore will be auctioned off at the Napa Valley Festival’s 2024 Arts for All Gala, with proceeds going to charity,” said Marquis Piero Antinori, president of honor of the company. The auction will take place in California on July 14, 2024.

You can’t order the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello, but you can make an offer by inquiring with the Festival Concierge in Napa Valley.
