2000 AD Announces San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusives, Signings, Panels, and More

Comic book publisher 2000 AD will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con this year with a packed lineup of top talent, signings, panels, giveaways, and more. You’ll find comic book megastars Simon Bisley, Gail Simone, and Kevin Eastman on the panels, and Bisley and Simone will be signing at the booth (though it’s unclear whether Eastman will be doing so as well).

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the beginning of its first revolution Sláine: The Horned God, Simon Bisley will be Rebellion’s guest of honor at the convention with exclusive signings, panels and more. Bisley will also join Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman for a panel.

The legendary Gail Simone will also be there to sign copies of her new Foggy anthology, as well as joining Bisley on a panel to discuss the twin worlds of horror and romance comics.

Here’s a look at their panel schedule:

• Roxy and Misty: Horror and romance collide! Horror ! Romance! Gail Simone leads a fantastic panel of creators and critics to explore the worlds of 2000 AD’s incredible genre anthologies, Misty and Roxy: from resurrecting scary classics to launching spicy love stories and intrigues!
• 2000 AD: the largest panel in the galaxy! Comic superstars Simon Bisley and Gail Simone lead a panel of top talent to discuss the power of comics, 2000 AD, and its new and classic comics: from horror and romance to war and fantasy! Featuring exclusive announcements across Rebellion’s exciting comics lineup!

Don’t forget to stop by booth #2121 to pick up an exclusive edition of the full show. Rogue Trooper: Blighty Valleywhich features new cover art by Francesco Francavilla. The hardcover collection by Garth Ennis and Patrick Goddard will be available exclusively at the show as well as to 2000 AD subscribers who purchase directly through the 2000 AD online store starting July 1.

They will also celebrate the 35th anniversary of Pat Mills and Simon Bisley The Horned God with a special anniversary collection, available on the Rebellion stand in large format paperback editions and in a three-volume box set. The new collection includes illustrations scanned from the original archival film and printed in a size closely matching Bisley’s original work.

You can also get limited copies of Foggy, the classic horror series from Gail Simone and Carola Boreli, Aly Fell, Marianna Ignazzi and Letty Wilson. The 48-page anthology has been relaunched in a new edition with a cover drawn by Eisner Award-winning artist Tula Lotay.

Booth #2121 will also offer free tote bags to collect with Judge Dredd art by Robin Smith, free poster tubes featuring an icon Judge Dredd cover by Brian Bolland and free copies of Rebellion’s extensive range of comic book titles.
