Marist Volleyball Announces 2024 Calendar

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball team has announced its schedule for the 2024 season, featuring a total of 28 games, including 10 non-conference games and 18 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) games.

  • Marist will begin its non-conference schedule on the road, starting with Virginia. On Friday, August 30, the Red Foxes will face Old Dominion University and the University of Virginia. The following day, Saturday, August 31, they will face the University of Texas at San Antonio.

  • Marist will then travel to East Lansing, Michigan to face Western Kentucky and Loyola on Friday, September 6. On Saturday, September 7, the Red Foxes will face Michigan State.

  • The following week, the Red Foxes will be in Dover, Delaware where they will face the University of Delaware on Friday, September 13th and Howard University on Saturday, September 14th.

  • The final two games of the non-conference schedule will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On Friday, September 20, Marist will first play the University of Rhode Island, and the results of those games will determine their opponent for Saturday, September 21, either Villanova or Temple.

  • Marist kicks off its MAAC program with a weekend in Buffalo, New York. They will face Niagara on Saturday September 28th, followed by a match against Canisius on Sunday September 29th.

  • On Wednesday, October 2, the Marists travel to Loudonville, New York, to face Siena. The following weekend they return home to host Iona on October 5th and Manhattan on October 6th.

  • Marist will then travel to Rider on Oct. 12 and Saint Peter’s on Oct. 13. They will then return home to host Quinnipiac on Oct. 19 and MAAC newcomer Merrimack on Oct. 20.

  • Marist will travel to face another MAAC newcomer, Sacred Heart, on October 26, followed by a visit to defending MAAC champion Fairfield on October 27.

  • The Red Foxes will host Siena on Oct. 30, St. Peter on Nov. 2 and Rider on Nov. 3. They will then travel to Merrimack on Nov. 9 and Quinnipiac on Nov. 10.

  • The regular season concludes with home games against Canisius on November 16 and Niagara on November 17.

The MAAC quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, November 22, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, November 23. The MAAC Championship final will be held on Sunday, November 24.
