Pearl Jam cancels additional European tour dates due to health concerns

Eddie Vedder and band members continue their recovery, disappointing fans in Berlin.

Pearl Jam has announced the cancellation of two more dates of its European tour in Berlin, citing ongoing health concerns among the band members.

The announcement follows the cancellation of a concert in London for similar reasons.

In a statement shared on social media, the rock band expressed regret over the cancellations and stressed their efforts to fully recover before resuming performances.

“Despite all efforts made by all, the group has not yet fully recovered,” the statement read. “We are aware of the consequences of this decision.”

The band expressed gratitude to their fans for their understanding and support, acknowledging the disappointment caused by the cancellations.

“We are deeply aware that so many people spend their time, money and emotional energy getting tickets and then coming to see the band,” they said.

Pearl Jam were scheduled to perform at Berlin’s Waldbühne on Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3.

Tickets for these shows will be refunded at the point of purchase.

The band is set to resume their tour in Barcelona on Saturday, July 6.

Fans are hoping for a speedy recovery and possible rescheduling of the missed dates.

Pearl Jam most recently made headlines at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival in May, where they were joined onstage by actor Bradley Cooper for a memorable duet.

Cooper, known for his role in “A Star Is Born,” performed “Maybe It’s Time” alongside Eddie Vedder, highlighting their close friendship forged during the filming of the movie.
